Effective Date: August 8, 2026 · Last Updated: August 8, 2026
Integrated Community Options (ICO), together with our agencies Integrated Community Options North (ICON) and Pasa Alta Manor (PAM), is committed to ensuring that our programs, facilities, communications, and website are accessible to the individuals we serve, their families, our staff, and members of the public — including people with physical, sensory, intellectual, developmental, and behavioral disabilities.
- Our Commitment
We strive to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), California's Unruh Civil Rights Act, and applicable community care licensing and Department of Developmental Services accessibility requirements, and to embody the person-centered, dignity-first values at the core of our mission. - Physical Accessibility
Our facilities — including the ICON day program site and the Pasa Alta Manor residential home — are designed and maintained to provide accessible entrances, pathways, restrooms, and common areas consistent with applicable building and licensing codes. We welcome feedback on physical barriers and will work to remediate reported issues within a reasonable time. - Program and Communication Accessibility
We provide reasonable accommodations to support full participation, which may include:
Materials in alternative formats (for example, large print, plain language, or translated materials)
Interpretation and translation support, including multicultural and multilingual staff resources
Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) supports
Person-centered planning that reflects each individual's communication style, cultural background, and support needs
Flexible scheduling or format adjustments where feasible - Digital Accessibility
We aim for our website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We periodically review our website for accessibility barriers and work to remediate issues we identify or that are reported to us. - Requesting an Accomodation
Participants, family members, conservators, staff, or website visitors may request an accommodation or report an accessibility barrier by contacting us using the information below. Please describe the barrier or accommodation needed and the best way to reach you. We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and work collaboratively to identify an effective solution. - Feedback and Grievances
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our programs, facilities, and website. If you believe you have experienced a barrier to access, you may submit a grievance through ICO's standard grievance process (see our Terms & Conditions) or by contacting us directly. Regional Center–referred consumers also retain all rights available to them under the Lanterman Act, including the right to file a complaint with their Regional Center. - Staff Training
Staff receive training on disability rights, person-centered practices, and communicating respectfully and effectively with individuals who have diverse support needs. - Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We periodically review and update our practices, facilities, and digital properties to reduce barriers as standards, technology, and community needs evolve. - Contact Us
