Most individuals access ICO's programs through a California Regional Center. Here's how that relationship works.

What Is a Regional Center?
California's 21 nonprofit Regional Centers coordinate and help fund services for people with developmental disabilities, under the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act. Your Regional Center service coordinator is typically your first point of contact for accessing programs like ours.

How Referrals Work

Your Regional Center service coordinator identifies ICO, ICON, or Pasa Alta Manor as a potential fit based on your Individual Program Plan (IPP).

The coordinator submits a referral, or connects you with our team directly.

We complete an assessment and tour with you and your coordinator.

Once vendorization and placement details are confirmed, services begin.

Our Role as a Vendor

As a vendored Regional Center provider, our services are funded through your Regional Center in coordination with your IPP goals. We work as an extension of your care team — sharing updates, attending plan reviews, and adjusting support as needs evolve.
